Been steadily backed too.

5 likely to lead but folds easily. 9 plugs on but has no specific pace. The rest are first time starters or garbage.

By:
The 2 (tipped when 9.0 4th choice) hacks up by 8-10 lengths. The early pace 5 was withdrawn and the selection went off at BFSP of 5.75.

Fonner R4 the track picker likes the 2 over the 7 but I think the 7 has him beat. The dark horse could be the 1 who is only double digit odds as he blew the turn in his first race at Fonner last time out. I'm backing the 7 at 4.1 and the 1 for small stakes at 12.0.

2 probably leads, 7 will be held off the pace and come late form the final bend. Watch the 1, if he breaks ok and is leading or in touch with the 3 at the first bend then he could go on to win.

Fonner R4 result, the 7 falls out of the gate and loses all hope in the opening strides. 2 wins as the track picker chalks up another winner!

By:
Fonner R5 I'm going with an outsider horse 1 who will be well off the pace and come steaming late. Currently 14.0 but I will be betting at 20.0 in-running.
I think 6 will lead until late and could hang on if 1 doesn't perform. 2 and 5 will also likely be there or there abouts at the death. |

Fonner R5 result. My pick the 1 horse got a good run but failed to show the late closing pace I was hoping for. The 5 horse holds on to win ahead of the late closing 4.

Fonner R6 a dire race full of no-hopers. But when the race is full of no-hopers there is hope! I'm going to bank on the 1 horse doubling up from his win last time out to come catch them down the straight. Currently 8.8 but will be bigger in running.

Fonner R7 shows how dire it was with the 7 outsider almost holding on for a win although got beat by the closing 6 by a late nose. My pick the 1 again failed to show the late closing pace from it's last time out and needs the full mile it seems.

Fonner R7. Can see how Miss Elise is favourite for this beating almost all of these same runners when coming 2nd last time out just holding off GG Holiday. However I can't help but notice the ineffectual ride given by Martinez on PR Gold Money in that very same race, looking like it was going to run on into prominence at the turn it was given nothing from the pilot and just jogged on home unplaced. So the pick is the 8 horse at a huge 18.5 odds as it stands (Freddy on board this time).

Fonner R7 result: My pick was surprisingly pushed for early speed when I feel it should be a closer. Thus is drifted badly towards the end and only finished 4th. GG Holiday won easily reversing the form with Miss Elise who was disappointing.

Final race Fonner R8: It's clear to see why the fav here is Banker Nita having smashed better opposition into the ground last time out in a 7k allowance on May 18th following up another impressive win in a cheaper maiden on May 5th. However with the track so muddy today I'm going to add an Exacter with Jessica Glitters who seems good value at 14.0 given she beat many of these same horses last time out just failing to get up to win when coming flying down the stretch. Pick is 9 to win with a side Exacter 1 and 9.

Fonner R8 result: An easy win-as-you-like performance from the pick in the last with the fav winning with BFSP of 2.55.
