09/11/19 Delta R3: Even money fav cruising 3 lengths in front with less than a furlong to run at 1.01 and reacts to change of whip arm, bulks left and hits the rail. Just beaten into second.

6th race 3rd fav unseated rider at start.
Another short price in running overturned. Delta downs, Nightmare Downs. |

Was going to say that, 1.01 backers broke or scared.
Having had 3 lose at 1.01 in a night they would need the next 300 to win to break even on levels. Crazeeeeeeeee |
|
By:
Some of the tracks are so far behind that you would need to be crazy to lose your money at those prices.

8th race at Aqueduct today the favourite 8 horse led the 9 who looked to be struggling as they turned into the stretch, only for the 9 to come back and lead before the furlong poll. Then 8 battled back ahead with less than a furlong to run and looked comfortable again trading a little at 1.01 before the 9 horse rallied and just caught the win by a nose on the line.

Race 14 at Woodbine on 15th Dec a remarkable jockey save on the 1 horse leaving the gate and went on to win! The commentator didn't even bother to mention it!

Race 1 at Parx today the winning 6 horse won with the jockey unseating about 2 yards over the finish line.

By:
Parx race 8 today the fav horse 7 looked completely beaten even with just 50 yards to go and somehow made up the gap to win on the wire. Plenty of 1.01 traded on the loser, I imagine there must have been some big odds laid on the winner but didnt catch how much.

Parx race 2 today in the stretch. What was going on? Havent watched any replay yet but looked like the 4 jockey was whipping the 3, then the 3 jockey held onto the 4 horse before pushing him away. Looking forward to the head-on of this...
|
|
By:
Looks like the jockey on the 3 horse was actually clinging onto the jockey of the 4 horse for dear life as the 1 horse lent in. 1 (the winner) was DQ'd.

R11 at Delaware this evening they had an Arabian race with 5 duplicate entries. Horse numbers went through 2B, 3C, 4D and 5X. They didn't even have stall number boards for 4D and 5X and someone had made up some with paint!

Race 7 at Charles Town tonight (09/07/20 US date). Fav out clear in front coming into the final turn and the horse decided to veer off the track back to the stables rather than finish the race.

Race 8 at Mountaineer 06/09/20 (US time): The even money favourite Without Malice was clear and coasting about 1 furlong out when the horse reacted to the whip and just stopped running. Eventually finished 4th. At least 3 horses traded at 1.01 in-running.
