Good Magic cut after his win last night but still looks over-priced. He looked workmanlike at the line but I think he hit the front about a furlong too soon. The pace should last that much longer in the Derby and hopefully the jock will just sit and wait.

Justify only had one horse to beat in Bolt D'Oro and is that horse really as good as the hype has suggested?

Mendelssohn is plenty short enough now. It will not be an easy task to try and dominate this field, particularly if he gets a wide post.

There doesn't appear to be anything on here, not even Sportsbook which is weird because all bookies are offering it.

Tote Ireland look like they might be doing it as they have a pro-mo on their front page but can't confirm as they don't show future schedules

for it.

I can't believe there's been no ante post betting on the exchange. One of the year's great racing events.

Niall: Hello welcome to Betfair you are chatting with Niall. How can I help?
*****: Hello Niall, Kentucky Derby Markets and US Pools, talk to me .
*****: cant find them
Niall:Please bear with me for a moment while I look into this for you.

Niall: Just to be sure, you are requesting the pools markets?
*****: well i just want to know what i can do on this race with Betfair?
*****: usa pools i.e trifecta & Superfecta
*****: or just the single markets or whatever
Niall: Bear with me while I try locate the market.
Niall: I am just consulting a manager as a market request was previously made for this meeting. Bear with me another moment please. My apologies for the delay.
*****: Its one of the biggest races in the world , its not even on the antepost market. bizzare
Niall: I understand. I believe it may be up there possibly in the wrong location. I am investigating, I will be as quick as I can.
*****: thank you Niall

Niall: I was provided with this link, but I don believe it is incorrect.
Niall: That link is correct, my apologies. The derby is showing as the hexam 20.35 race. My apologies for the confusion.
*****: one moment
Niall: Please ignore the above.
*****: thought so
Niall: We do not offer the market nor does Paddy Power due to licensing issues.
Niall: My apologies for the confusion.
*****: bugger
*****: ok , thanks

You can bet into the Tote pools via Tote Ireland. All Churchill's races tonight, and I assume tomorrow. Quick and easy to sign up.

As for the licencing issues quoted below that's hogwash in terms of Paddy's sportsbook. All bookmakers are offering betting .

Unfortunately, while you can bet on the races the video feed is 'not authorised' I am sending an e-mail to Churchill Downs pointing out to them

that if they made their product accessible to the rest of the World and promoted it they could probably make more money out of the Kentucky Derby

alone than they make in an average week!

It's so typical of racing in many parts of the World .It's almost as if they don't want customers.
