Not skint,just moved on due to BF shabbiness on American racing.

Some of us are still about.  As u say people may have left but others just don't post anymore.

look back at the earliest date page 36, 2010, there was 400-500 posts per every nights racing...fook all now.

Still operating,especially at Penn. .

Nobody loses on the US racing as they are the shrewdest on the Forum.
Lack of activity has reduced interest and Betfair themselves have not given this aspect any encouragement.
Quite sad but I'm sure the old posters are still earning a few quid on the US stuff, albeit in silence.

Still punting at Penn,don't too much care that people have departed.

i love  charles mount and penn due  to  the midnight owl coming home  from pubs and   still here   today  and in the years of old    was    great lakes downs due to weak tote

just that  the bread       gone to 40 %  to betfair    if i work  harder  it can be 60%

at times  i dig   30% of  total matched  on total in each market

Back from pub,so need to cover exs as per usual.
Relying on Penn again.

Remember the good days! Shame betfair didn't look after the good punters.

Some of us still tune in for Penn on a Friday evening,but not too of us post. 

I still look in now and again,posted the 1,000th post one night when this forum was in its heyday. Some knowledgeable posters ever ready to help and give advice but it attracted too many trolls who were allowed to spoil a good forum.

They don't need to post,but just get on with it.

I've been busy spending all my winning's I amassed over all the years winning on here.

betfair killed it, complete lack of markets

used to be good fun on ere shame it died

I used to hang out a lot here. Have young children, but they are slowly growing up, and I'm playing US races most nights again.

Some things never change - fortunately.
And Friday night is always Penn night in my house.

The reason US racing interest died on the forum was because of lack of liquidity.
UK racing is still okay but US racing has really died on here.
The US racing is now about 80% bot which offer nothing to punters.
The PC charge started the initial decline in liquidity.
The early days were great ,especially punting at GLD.

When you have good liquidity the banter is always fun.Lots of different opinions and easy to get in and out of a market.
People at that time believed in the 'Betfair dream' of backing/laying without a middleman  to offer you
his in house 'market'.
But the Betfair dream became the Betfair nightmare as week after week,month after month people say liquidity
decline and charges become higher and higher by betfair and the rise of the bots.
For most people it just wasnt worth it anymore.

Used to like this forum, just died ,real shame. Might as well blow it out?

chrisblues have left  usa racing after 17 years of  trading around xmas time it not worth  the   time of  the day   on  here   any more   rip  usa racing and betfair he says    it  knowing when   it time  to put his thumbs down and  sadly  leave from  working on here  for  so  long and missing  it too   like some   say make hay while it last   and it time

Friday night @ Penn still my highlight of the week,think it's been cancelled tonight though - too much  snow in New York .
