I have never seen such a simple form guide as it was become SO complex to try and understand. Forget it Betfair...you've made a total a..e of it this time. Im off to another site.

Having some time available late night/early morning I enjoyed the US racing with the form easy to use and most races available to watch on here. Now as it seems the form needs buying I will regrettably have to give it a miss as I am only a smallish punter on US racing. Just wonder how turnover may change with the form having to be paid for.

Is there now no convenient way of checking up the BF price on an earlier US race? I used to make regular use of the Timeform site for US results, but I can't find any way of getting the US prices on the new sites. (I could be being dense here.)
There's some information on the http://www.betfairpromo.com/betfairsp/prices/index.php, although that's an absolute mess, and also seems to be lacking many key pieces of data on each race. The RSS Feed gives the results for the last 24 hours, but no pricing. Why is it that every change seems to result in things getting worse??? |

Whatever the sport I, probably like many others, like to study form and find selections to either back or lay. As a small player on here I do not really want to pay to get the form. I can make enough sense from the UK form on here to get an initial view on many races. As I get the weekly Racing Post Weekender I can then look for more info from the weekly form sections I save from there.
However, sadly the US racing is now a no go area for me. |

Paddy Power now owns Betfair and Timeform and they're tightening the noose, scumbags. Apparently you're not allowed to gather your own opinion from the form anymore!?! If enough punters on Betfair standup to this bullshit they might rethink.

Apologies for my slightly unfair comments last night, had a few tipples. Please replace 'scumbags' with 'greedy corporate gits'! Also to clarify Paddy Power don't own Betfair/Timeform outright, but they are a 52% majority share holder. Such a crying shame they have taken a concise, functional and clutter free form tool supplied as part of the Betfair experience and left us with the slower cluttered Timeform site. I have immense respect for the boffins at Timeform but the best thing about punting on horseracing is finding the winners yourself, and though that is still possible with their site and other form resources out there, you now have to jump between several different webpages (some of which like Timeform you have login to to get full functionality) and with all the popup adverts you get along the way it's a nightmare compared to how easy to use the free site was. The corporation has moved the goalposts and it makes a joke of the name BetFAIR!
