More to the point why are the post times so different to the off times? Aqueduct is normally pretty much on the ball to the advertised off times. Just opened a market a couple of minutes earlier than I normally would - five minutes before the scheduled off - and the race was already over.
Are the times different to normal or are they trying to beat some form of weather warning?

I think it's pretty much automatic. Same as Greyhounds. Streams come on 3 minutes before the scheduled off irrespective of time delays. UK/Irish racing, albeit five minutes automatically, has some leeway if racing changes.
Though, I see you've alerted them on Twitter. We'll see if any changes come about though I bet not.
