Job mostly well done with yesterday's US racing.

The suspensions were mostly on time,
the scratches were removed promptly,
the markets in general were managed significantly better than in the last few months.
Hopefully this will continue today and into the future.
Kindly keep up the good work.

This could all be done automatically by robot, at least for the races where they accept tote bets. The tote closes at the off, they could write a program that checks the tote and automatically closes the markets when the tote stops taking bets.
A similar thing could apply to late scratches, they are taken out from the tote almost immediately the announcement is made. A robot monitoring the runners on the tote in each race could then make lights flash or bells ring immediately a horse is scratched.

It has been nothing but downhill since I made the original post.
The inconsistent early suspensions are most of the races yet again yesterday.
We had numerous bad actors in and around the gate with the exchange closed and the bets trapped.
Several scratches removed about 30 seconds before the early suspension.

It is poor market management and the markets are suffering because of it to the benefit of hardly anyone.

Saratoga Race 1-

off with the favorite trading at 3.15-3.65

who benefits from that kind of straddle and lack of market formation?
