I did not see this race Razor
but from the Equibase website I tracked down the following info https://www.equibase.com/premium/chartEmb.cfm?track=PRX&raceDate=08/09/2015&cy=USA&rn=4 footnotes at the bottom in capitals explain the situation a horse broke through the gates and ran off race delayed post time was delayed 10 mins the horses left the starting gates 23 minutes past scheduled start time ... I hear your comments razor but surely ... no market can just be kept open some 23 minutes past the original start time just to accommodate some punter/punters who want to get on the very last second before they jump most punters would have their bets already on the people you are suggesting are waiting & waiting to place a bet very late need to look at their punting (trading) behaviour and adjust for reality who is siting around in a box somewhere waiting on a 2-5 second delay to push the button that closes the betting on betfair some courses (like Parx) don't even allow BF to show the race and punters have to go to websites to even get a look at the race I use https://www.parxracing.com/liveracing.php to watch on the broadcast delay .. while I understand your campaign for these situations I humbly suggest that punters are ON with their bets and the deductions that follow must be factored in to your betting practices but all the best to you anyway . |

Again why would anyone adjust to losing? Im a winner. And I will never adjust to **** as you are suggesting..

Again last few seconds is the essence of an exchange. If you don't understand that, there is no argument. Look at all the other posters complaining the same thing. People don't bet here. Its ****.

cheers Razor and all the best
I hear traders making complints and as stated I understand their exposures I cannot see why a win/lay punter cannot get their bet set (as I repeatedly do) .. and I at no time have ever waited till the very last moments to place a bet those that do are disadvantaged yes .. but not to the ewxclusion of getting a bet on that I can see I never suggested adjusting to losing .. just adjusting to getting your bet on we agree to disagree .. but I accept your point of view |

Yes but there truly is no argument. But we live in a free country. We pay commission on the site for what. Garbage. Bettors should not have to suffer into a seeders market as it is now!

Why is it that a market can't be open 23minutes past the scheduled off time?
The tote was open 23 minutes past the scheduled off time, tennis matches are left open some times hours after the scheduled off time. It is poor market management as has been the case largely since the third week of May. |

i have my doubts that it is poor management ?
I think it is specific management ... that is ensuring the market isn't left open now why this is the case though ... has never been explained it has not affected me as a punter as my bets are on with 2 mins to go the people who it has affected ... should really direct their case to BF and hope to an ausience with the market controllers but be prepared ... that if their answer is NO CHANGE from how it is at the present .. then each much must make their own new plan ... or adjust all the best |

to BF and hope to ... ^ get an audience ... with the markey controllers

Parx race 3 today. Its getting better everyday. Attention to betfair owners. The traders or whoever is handling your management of us racing suspension. By doing it with no care at all, 5 minutes before post time. Think of all the money in commission and interest that is being lost by this.
