some great racing coming up today
ive been around for an hour now and had 4 bets with no probs getting set at all
I usually bet around the 2mins to post time when some value is around .. after that the plunges come and the traders (not punters) are either exposed or don't know what to do
they then wait until the very last minute trying to extract that 0.01 of extra odds and often miss the race altogether
such is the life of a trader (not punter)

only watching the maiden in Lad2 as many are first timers .. the #2 hasn't done any flash work on the track but has had a consistent pattern lead up so i'll have a look at it in-race for the future

#2 broke the gates cleanly but couldn't match it with the slick speedsters
did enough around the turn to be in a shooting position .. before the jock put the whip away a furlong out did enough for me to watch its track work for an improvement leading into its 2nd race start and maybe a solid placing |

The Longines G1 coming up at SAR8 .. so I guess they will run some 'time' in it
 #1 had a good win a G3 at Belmont first up drawing clear at the end and stepping up a grade here #2 lightly raced and in the market but wanna see it again first #3 lovely filly better suited at the mile maybe but fresh today and has done the work for them to be having a go here for sure #4 this race gets harder as you go through them lol with #4 fresh after 7 months off might be hard pressed but hey has won 5 from 9 #5 looks outclassed but might be ridiculous odds also #6 has been running in nothing but G1's and G2's though over a bit mire ground than today .. 3rd up and should be primed if the speed pans out for it #7 freshened and stepping up a few grades into this #8 another fresh but with solid G1 form - this race not getting any easier #9 & #10 look outgraded and from tough draws I dunno lol maybe the #3 win & place for me but treading carefully as anything could happen here .. a great watch though |

cheers Horts yes got something out of the race .. what a terrific win by Cavorting that's 4 wins from 6 starts her and had run a big here over 6½f in the Adironack G2 so I needed to look closer at that pre-race lol
the #9 was a revelation to me and they have a nice filly there also onwards |

Monmouth R10 late in the day and a 5f stakes dash on the turf
#3 and #9 have the form on the board going in .. but will they be bloused out late who knows watching only here |

well ill be watching the #3 NEXT start of course (SCR) and #9 is harsh value - definite watch only me

#9 goes straight to the front and leaves itself a sitting shot .. though dug in again 1 furlong out but clearly bloused late
the winner is a prolific winner was 2nd up and having its first shot in a Stakes race so the connections will be rapt in the performance .. well done 7.30am where I am .. off for a shower and some brekky and back in an hour or so .. good fortunes all |

nice work Horts .. I went back and see that lay at lad didn't run a place well done SAR11 coming up always tough at their meets ... but fun hard races the 5½f sprints on the grass .. I know that from where I come from too the #3 is so well bred and the young filly looks to be now starting her plays .. so maybe she doesn't go ballistic up front but is kept to a nice gait .. and maybe the win-place is the way .. treading carefull tho |
