interesting race jasr as the 5 originally had a reasonable career on the turf in france before going amiss it would seem in the US a year and a half ago where it had a considerable break from racing being 4th up today
the #4 looked to have the saddle slip forward mid race with the jock pulling it to the outside before the turn to avoid any incident in the straight when the pressure cooker part of the race was about to happen

late money now for the first starter #2 in the upcoming at SAR
will have to chase the hard runner #7 with its big weight pull under the apprentice claim

yes jasr I preferred the #4 pre-race in that one also ... the saddle moving forward on it lost it all chance in the running though as the jock couldn't restrain it without risk ... and pulling it out of the race on the turn for safety ... forget the run

it's early morning here in Oz ... a shower & brekky for me soon
a tricky day ahead with 4 hours of USA to still to go
not a tip from me ... but out of interest I will be having a good look in about 3 hours or so at Presque Isle Race8
a 4yo filly (a mare to us here down under) #2 Monatee will be having its first ever race start in a $7500 maiden
there has usually been an injury or career set back for them to start racing so late and at that age .. but it must have shown them something in its works for them to persevere and continue with a potential racing career
I doubt they'll let it get out to any value odds but outside of the #5 and #8 the race appears to have very little depth
should be an interesting watch race I reckon just to see if this new grey/roan filly/mare has anything at all to offer

and that was just the dark haired trainer .. what a looker she is
but Monatee couldn't have been more impressive
an imposing type .. they hooked her out the back early over the 6f ... before giving her some race experience in amongst the field going back to the inside around the turn
... she then had to angle out for a run mid-straight ... but once out and straightened and asked to extend .. she showed plenty of ability ssnd some class
impressive debut for what it was worth ... might not see her for a month and a bit now a I guess ... lovely type
wow what a terrific lookertall, long barrelled, strong rump, deep chestand that was just the dark haired trainer .. what a looker she is but Monatee couldn't have been more impressivean imposing type .. they hooked her out the back early over the 6f
