The winner is a smart horse.  Decent form in Aquaduct & Laurel.  Only defeat was in a big stakes race at Oaklawn.  1.9 was a big price against lower opposition.

The Oaklawn race was the Honeybee Stakes (Fillies) (Grade 3) (Dirt) which it started 9/5 fav

Kriskin, I'm not talking about 1.9, I'm speaking 1/9 two minutes before the off on the tote.

stew -I know it was 1/9 on the tote at various stages.  It ended up a 3/5 shot.  I backed it her at 1.9.  I made her 2/5 at best maybe a 3's on shot.  She looked different class

Kris, why no betting at Hollywood?

Betfair have lost a lot of contracts with some of the US tracks.  All Californian tracks, Parx, Fingers Lake, Churchill Downs, Arlington, etc.

Layers at Presque on here tonite getting cleaned out.  Even money shot wins Race 5 easy to back at 3.25 and bigger on here

Thanks for that info Kris. I was tempted to back Military Mary at 9/4....evens on the Tote. Perhaps I should stick to what I know best....British horseracing.

I only got up to switch my laptop off after falling asleep and happened to notice the 1/9. I wont be getting involved with the US stuff too much without having the knowledge.

Stew - 3 looks good in Race 2 at Charles.  4 looks only danger.

Very poor at Charles.  Winner allowed to set easy fractions.  Hope u missed that one Stew

stew - the 7 in Race 3 at Mountaineer brings in some decent from from Charles T.  Dropped in distance tonight it might well be able to lead from the front.  Others are very poor

Yes I did miss it Kris. I don't usually get involved with the US racing, but if I see a 1/3 tote chance trading at evens on here I usually stick a ton on.


Having said that, there has been many a night when I've had one too many and chased in the US markets, usually losing.

stew - u need to be careful sometimes with the tote betting in US races.  The real money doesn't arrive in to late on.  You'll see loads of times betting changing half ways through the races
