There have been several discussions about the loss on the exchange of several US tracks. Gone are Gulfstream Park, Pimlico, Finger Lakes, Beulah Park (now shut and replaced by new track anyway), and, most recently, Finger Lakes. A few years ago, Betfair purchased, for many millions of pounds, TVG which is a US based account wagering platform linked to televised races. This acquisition has made the company vulnerable to legalized extortion from both Churchill Downs (Kentucky Derby) and Magna (Preakness). These 2 owners of many US tracks have threatened to deny TVG the right to handle 2 of the biggest US races if the parent Betfair uses their tracks on international exchanges.

Purple Place offered markets on the Derby. Have a feeling that they are not restricted as Betfair is when it comes to US Horse Racing Markets. Unfortunately they only offer same markets as Betfair ..... too bad
