Jose Lezcano wins the Tool Of The Week award for his ride on Captain Gaughen in race 2.
Two strong chances: Mississippi Duel (a strong front runner) and Captain Gaughen (normally ridden off the pace) Mississippi Duel goes straight to the lead as expected. Lezcano decides to push on forward with Captain Gaughen to take on the leader. They go hammer-and-tongs at each other others' throats. As they swing for home Captain Gaughen is the first horse beaten. Mississippi Duel runs a great race but is over run in the latter stages and finishes 4th.
Do they actually have stewards in America?

Penn R1 the 3 looks the likely winner but a win record of 1/26 and trading at evens, steers me to playing small on 1 & 2 gl all

Cork - I'm surprised u didn't lay the fav at 2.1 and less
Kriskin, weighed it up and took the view that there was more value trying to find the winner than risking the lay, didn't come off, add to that a bad night last night when I managed to lay 3 winners on a bob and some other calamities and common sense told me to take it easy tonight unless certain.
Did you catch sight of the 1st race at Delaware tonight by any chance...? Angel Serpa performed miracles to win the race.

Penn R2 probably a race too late but I've gone win/place lay the 3 this time just don't fancy it at all, backs of 4 & 5 gl all

Chas R4 lots of pace 2/3/5 especially which could suit the 6 or even 7 perfectly, gl all

#8 a strong fancy for me with the scratch of the 5, dropping in class tonight against a very weak field, gets the outside post and blinkers so can either make all or stalk, if it cant beat this lot it will never break maiden! GL

5 for me next at charles at the prices, still unexposed after coming from much tougher over in NY, the step up in trip should be fine and hopefully JD can boot this home. GL
