very happy with around evens for this #3 entry looks a NAP to me, was expecting this to be more like a 3/5 shot. 5 from 6 career starts and only loss with over the mile on wet ground. the only other speed is drawn on the inside so no danger of being strangled for the lead on the rail. should be very tough to beat here over this trip. the only possible squeak may come from 8 who is improving but I dont think he is improving fast enough to trouble he 2. If the 2 Winter brook does get company up front it will allow something like the 8 (if it continues to improve) or the 1.
As I have said, I really hope the jockey on the 5 does not do anything daft like try to keep up the pace with the 2 as a slog in a 1m race at Zia will cost the best horse in the race (the 2) a comfortable win.
The other good thing about the 2 is its consistency, you cant really say that about the rest of the runners.

MP R1 if last nights card is anything to go by, turf races will go to the speed, which in this comprises of 1/5/7/9/10, the 10 should win unless the other four burn it out, preferred order is 10/5/9/1 gl all

Yes djx, the fav has little form at 1m and way track is riding should face plenty of competition from the off as all jockeys know they need to be close to the pace which in this looks to be 3/4/8/9, for me the 9 could surprise and have covered 6 & 7 who could benefit if the pace collapses for any reason all w/p, gl all

sounds like it is your night djx, uncanny how you can hit streaks like that sometimes, still we all know the other side as well, so you have to enjoy them when it happens...! In answer to your earlier question gov is on tonight though I dare say he wishes he hadn't bothered now...!
Evening gov, going for a recovery wager...?

MP R4 a race for the needy and greedy only with negatives for all of them and very few positives
1 - first look has been running short at Chas 2 - can only be backed for the drop, shown nothing 3 - gets behind could be difficult to make ground up 4 - consistently placed but one paced and soundness has to be questioned 5 - like 2 can only be considered on the drop 6 - has looked very one paced and yet to hit the board 7 - has improved from debut and extra furlong might help 8 - receives blinkers and lasix, now or never night 9 - has shown zilch difficult to give any chance
Thats my view on the field, if I had to play would go 8 & 7, gl if you do play

Decided 6 of one and half a dozen the other or that if they threw 7 they'd have to chuck 4 as well for the interference to the 8, still surprised no objection from the 8's connections

What happened there, I actually thought stewards in the US were sane compared to over here.
How did the 7 keep that it was less than a head that he won by and barged the second horse twice.
Plus the 4 was barged off course on the turn by the 3rd horse I think.
Seriously is everything corrupt ?

As I said above think they felt if they chucked 7 they had to chuck 4 as well so easier to leave as is, no 2 inquiries are ever called the same at any US meets, its swings and roundabouts just seems harsh at the time if you lose because of it.

I've genuinely thought it's fairer in the US, it's pathetic over here, one jockey has to take a machete to the other.
The 4 was checked by the 3rd horse anyway on the turn, I'm no expert, but I've watched thousands of these american races over the years and for that not to be over-turned is genuinely shocking.
It was a £2 bet I don't really mind, just can't anything be straightforward for once, really really annoying.
Gone on too long anyway now, sorry.

missed the bart baird 1st claim angle in the last race so cant miss it here, add to that the jolly here 3 is on a negative barn switch and doesnt look a dirt horse! #8 at 3/1+ looks very fair in a field of donkeys. GL

UL Cork, i could not forsee the race panning out like that at all
Mount race 8
tried hard to ignore it but on this #3 here at 5/7+, merits are obvious, if this rans half as well on dirt as turf it wins by 20 here, its debut on dirt wasnt even that bad considering it blew the break, from much classier races against this bunch of donks has absolutely no excuses if it cant win here.
