im a backer of the #4 at around 6/4, love the debut and is the least exposed here, had genuine excuses last time pressing Pace from the inside so should get better position tonight (7 got the better trip last time imo), gets Morales tonight aswell. GL

Got a text from a friend earlier whom is a reliable person for the 5 in the maiden but with the non runners it will probably be short but will win.

FWIW if you back No4 at 2.50, you will be well ahead of the tote odds at the off.
FWIW I think an off the pace horse can do well here. No7 is the obvious one. In  truth, he did little running behind No4 last time. Maybe this race sets up better or this extra 1/2F but I am not sure.
I will chance Penn shipper No6 at 11.00+. There are plenty of reasons why he's chancy but it's risks vs rewards.

Im not sure this 4 is a bonafide speed, but if it decides to duel with 1 early it at least gets the better of it with the outside draw

the main reason i cannot be having the 7 is Engleharts 0 from 8 here without a single place and its never been on synthetics, the #6 at around 8/5 seems fair enough, gets Morales tonight and can see this going off closer to a 6/5 shot, if she cant win against this bunch she will not for a long time. Mount race 2

with the 6 scratched just cant get away from this #4 had to settle for around 4/5+ but ticks a lot of the boxes, it should lead, stepping back to the sprint and set mental fractions over the route last 2 races, cant see this being caught tonight. GL

add to that it simply looks like its got nothing to beat

Manonion i have been around horses all my life.I lke backing but when that is not possible i.e you know that the market has your chance of winning already factored the only other option is lay.

It's extremely annoying. Though not entirely surprising.

For me as there are better options rather than playing blind and bf do not see fit to change their policy i wont bet .There are other avenues for me anyhow and that is the way to respond because eventually they will realise that without serious players they will have no liquidity.

Liquidity certainly seems down since they changed how late they play videos. Might just be a coincidence. However, considering the small amounts matched on US races, I doubt they'll even notice.

And got a huge price from a guy that i worked with in the states.Gave it out earlier to mr q who is a decent fellow as i was not having great luck @ pid and pointed out a decent priced winner.Alot of respect for him for that as we both were on a horse who got diq and should not have.

Here we go again maidens and no live video.No bet here as the traders and the bookmakers have a clear advantage over you as you can only see the stats which is paper .

You are probably wondering what i am on about but if you do not see them in the paddock its next to impossible to determine how well they are.Trust me that is all important.

what do you look for in the paddock TOWF? i know its hard to explain but i would appreciate any input! I generally just look to see the horse is calm and relaxed, is there anything else to look out for?

If you ever handled a horse the first thing it will do is look at you.Its the same in the ring as most times the horses are nervous therefore concentrate on their head .It is a big giveaway.If you know what to look for .If they shake their head  feriously forget about your chance as it will 100/1 that it will win.

I have ridden 10,000 + horses .Trust me they are not all the same.Some get really hyped up as they do know when a race is coming.They know days in advance because they never forget the experience.Some take to it others loose the plot.last week a horse from our stable lost the plot and had to be put down on the way to the track.Best way is for you is to concentrate on their head .What you want to see that nothing bothers him or her.Best advice .There are other things but i would be here all night. GL.

Cheers TOWF i will bare that in mind, all i mainly do is stare at drf cards and watch replays so this info is priceless for me, Is there anything different to look for in speed horses to closers for instance as a rule of thumb? So the main thing to look for is a still head? What about Horses that are unwilling to load or sweating, is this always a very bad sign?

As regard speed horses what are known as in the trade but you will rarely hear mentioned is dip backed.This is when a horse  hind quarters are higher than his shoulder.Often these horses are not really saleable because thet are unbalanced but on the plus side if thet stans up to training they have an advantage in speed races .But you must know what to look for and this is a very small guide.Its not that simple to explain but this the best i can do for you.In speed races look for their arse to put it cruely.

As a famous amercian trainer  said one day after winning the breeders cup.You want them looking like grace kelly a chest like marlin monroe and an ass like a harlem hooker.Now you know why i cannot mention his name.But Its true.That is your ideal horse.

He got banned by the nyra for 6 months for brining racing into disrepute. Not to hard to work it out from there.

For me layed the 4 .Backing 1 and the 9.Both looked ready.
