A decent 2 yr old race in the First at presque. 2 has the form in the book. The 6 comes in from its race at Churchill which was a higher grade. A few newcomers from well regarded stables as well. Good race

|
By:
agree Kriskin. A number of alternativs if you missed No2 at the bigger prices
|
|
By:
Q - i've backed the 2 at an average 2.88. Have also backed the 6 to cover my stake
|
|
By:
I thought No2 was more ready on debut than No3 but No3 does have a bit to find. Then you have to factor in the pair who debuted at Churchill & the 1 entry

Good result at Presque

I am hoping race 2 is a pace makes race play. 1+3 may be the fastest but both are likely to be on the engine and may be joined by 2+4+5+7. That leaves the only potential closer in No6. He ran well in a decent claimer over a mile last time but seems to get a good set up to pick up the speed late. He may not quite be good enough but I think he does more than 1 in 6 so 6.00 is playable.

I was surprised that No6 could stay so close early on but didn't have the finishing effort I expected |

Mr Q - has U.K Girl maintained any of her old form in your view? If the mare has she looks good here in Race 3. She has been running on the grass in recent races. It's her 3rd race tonite after a lay-off. Everything looks right for her

PID race 3
I thought class dropping No5 was the gal to beat with in form No8 likely to chase her home. As races 1+2 were won in wire to wire fashion No3 may be the best upset chance. She has speed and may even be able to get clear early on. She drops in class and has form on this surface. Any bigger than the 12.00 on offer now is tempting for at least a saver. |

PID race 4
The best horse (No2) is ridden by the worst jockey and is likely to be a well backed favourite. She could put this horse on the lead but with Ms Cox anything is possible. The rest are ifs, buts and maybe types who may figure if No2 gets a bad ride. |
