TURFWAY PARK - March 23, 2013

Team Valor Rushaway Stakes. - For Thoroughbred Three Year Old
One And One Sixteenth Miles.

1st Crop Report
2ndDivine Ambition  1.75
3rd Red Wings  4.75l
4th Takin the Sloroad 8.25
5th J. J. Got Even 18.5
6th Bet a Bundle 42

Crop Report was given a patient and confident ride by Jockey Joel Rosario:taken back and dropped in from a wide draw was a full 9 lenths off the pace at the quarter mile stage, and still 5 lenths  off at  the  three quarter pole,he came with a sustained steady effort to take the race 1 .75 lenths going away and putting himself in the picture for the Kentucky Derby. Trained by William Haggis in 2012  and having just two runs improving to win 2nd start maiden at newmarket by 5 lenths on soft ground,Crop report is showing versatility on different surface and looks to have a bright future.

Black Onyx won the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati Racing Spiral Stakes - Gr. 3 yesterday and had previously beat Crop Report 1.75 lenths so the form got a solid look to it!
