Hello, I am relatively new to US racing. I seethey have Claimers,Maidens. Are the Allowance races same as our Handicaps pls?

No,allowance races are a bit like Listed races over here.Go to the Hello Race Fans website,they have a section on understanding the basics of USA racing.Good info for someone starting out GL
