#2 Crushin Rock Likely leader but can he hold on,stable has won with 17 from last 50 runners on the track 34%. #3 is from a good stable but has had trouble at the start last 2 races,drops in class. #1 was a decent horse a year ago,been in the doldroms?,top claimer on. |

TRANSPARENT showed showed flashes of ability in his first four starts, and then improved substantially with blinkers on going two turns vs. Revolutionary in the fastest 2-year-old route of 2012; $725k colt is loose on the lead. Coming off a pair of one-mile workouts, INMYFATHERSIMAGE found his best stride late in debut, winding up about 10 lengths behind the top one; showed considerably more speed in two follow-up drills, presumably in the new blinkers he wears today. BUDDY'S TIZ chased highly touted Archwarrior sprinting at Saratoga; $400k Tiznow colt is bred to route, and returns for meet-leading connections. |
