What happened to the funny guy from ATR Stateside?,He used to appear on sundays if i remember correctly alongside Perham or millar and stop the show from turning into a borefest. Black hair, bit of a pie eater, anyone remember who he was?

Thats the guy, gary selby. Stateside needs him on a sunday like friday nights need meerkat and weavershark.

that's an interesting comparison because TV as a a whole would not be worse off without any of them but Selby made the Sunday evening program a lot better than it is without him and the other two make it quite upbeat on a Friday evening but you don't want to watch atr then anyway.

Never really thought of it that way Risky... i suppose if meerkat and shark were absent would i miss them? Probably not as you say whereas the Sunday is worse off without Selby.

Selby was very good. Knew his stuff and was very funny at times. They seem to have cut back on US coverage to pay for their new studio.
