Whats the reason for not having these race tracks on Betfair, is it licencing?

Yes, I believe it's some sort of licensing issue. It's the same reason you can't bet on Churchill Downs.
Seems highly ironic, doesn't it? Betfair has naming rights for one of California's main race tracks, but Betfair punters can't bet on it. And the Americans can't bet on Betfair. I was amazed earlier this year when Betfair couldn't run a market on the Kentucky Derby (other than the ante-post market) Bloody licensing crap. As they say in Yankee-land ... "go figure" |
