Lucky - what does 'monster bet on 4, saver on 10' really mean? Is it that if the 10 wins (and the 4 loses), then you 'break even'? Or are ahead overall? But if 4 is a 'monster bet', the amount you must bet on 10 (to be a 'saver') must also be pretty big (even though its price is longer). And if they both do not win, the loss appears collosal! Do you find 'saver bets' often win if the main bet does not - and therefore is financially worthwhile?

That race at TUP  Ive watched it again and without doubt that was as bent as f@ck

The betting told the story at turf.4/5 on course 7/4 on here.The jockey must have been really worried when the horse pulled to the lead.

Well, the hoirse went off 15/8 on the exchanges and 7/5 in america - so not that big a discrepancy taking usual gap in prices...

No6 ran well in much better races in the spring. He may be tough on the big class drop but has an absence since April to defy. At the prices, I am taking a shot with a pair. No8 looked in need of experience on debut and may improve. 8.00+ Is ok. The other one is No10. He showed sneaky speed before fading badly against better last time. He’s chance but the cut back to 5F will suit. At 50.00+, how many times do you have to be right to make money.

Now I WOULD be gutted if i had backed the 1a at tup r8 - what an awful ride - lost on much the best....

I backed it, and I am.

I think the 2 and 7 at Zia look value. G/L All.

on very early #2 at around 5/4+ can see this going off a 4/5 shot, makes the drop from specials to claiming company tonight and has always showed plenty of early speed crucial in these donkey maidens, has every chance of taking them wire to wire here. GL
