I can't actually believe the price atm on here i would expect that price state side but elsewhere he should be 11/8 tops! I just don't think Wise Dan is all he is cracked up to be! But time will tell! Moonlight Cloud would be the danger!

I would agree but considering the small field etc there shouldn't be much trouble in running - steering job imo!

I'm strongly opposed to excelebration based on the following and particularly at the odds on offer.

1. He hasn't shown the closing tactical speed for US turf racing. Final furlong sections haven't been quick enough to win this race.
2. This race generally suits 6 furlong european horses and all the european winners were French breds except 1 and that year it was soft going
3. Race demands accerlation not a strong stayer
4. the 9 winners of QE II that ran in this race have finished unplaced
5. The last 6 winners of the QEII have targeted longer races at the breeders cup not this race.
6. He has had a long tough season, and had a tough recent race at Ascot, as well as having to travel overseas almost immediately after.
7. slowly run tactical race on fast ground will not suit

Can see excelleration bombing. Place lay for me.

When selecting one to back against it, Midnight Cloud has the perfect European profile to go well in the race and just look at the way Wise Dan ripped up the Shadwell

Okay obviously A few of those ponts can't be agrued against so I won't bother even trying too. But 3. Race demands accerlation not a strong stayer - he has plenty of acceleration just look at how he quickened on a much slower surface last time out. 6. He has had a long tough season, and had a tough recent race at Ascot, as well as having to travel overseas almost immediately after. - he has had a long season granted and the trip may not have done him any favours but his recent race at ascot was nothing more than a routine piece of work he won it so effortlessly. Finally 7. slowly run tactical race on fast ground will not suit - with Obviously in the field i think the sectionals will be on the quick side and Excelebration goes on all ground.

This is just my opinion of course Excited GL tho

Dancing Brave it is an old friend here! I too could not initially see the O'Brien horse getting beat...however after the races that I have seen at what can only be described as a flapping track for horses...I think that Wise Dan is the one. However, no bet for me! Good luck if you are on though mate Happy

His best races have been with a little give in the ground. I think he may struggle to pick off wise dan who could steal a march on him. He will need to sit pretty close to wise dan to beat him. The race could be about tactical speed.

Lol I would agree to that the exploding hamster! Excited
See I have watched Wise Dan and altho he looks impressive in his last few races - I can't help but feel Excelebration would have dispatched the opposition he faced just as easy!
