next at TUP 5 will be way to good for this lot at odds against its a very big bet for me , gl
hard to have a decent bet lucky when there are some unknown animals in the race
agreed lucky but the form of the fav is not that special

imo its now at a more realist price , 2.6 was good 2.0 is about its true chance
That fav at Turf P has regressed a stone since it's first run. The horse must have an underlying issue
watch on betamerica .com,any track u want,better then watching chariots.

Amazed how poorly populated the forum has become of late, economic position or just a lack of interest because of the poor support the US racing receives from ATR/bf etc...? Either way it is depressing to see the thread struggling after such a good run, will have to retire myself as there is nothing worse than posting to yourself for three hours...!

Oh cheers, down in mine. A question in that particular race the 6 won previously always on all weather. Does a horse move to all weather easily enough. I selected the 3 as it had previously won twice following extended lay off. Didnt post selection as that would have caused it to lose as per previous experience!
world - Some horses when moving from synthetic to dirt struggle and others thrive. There are a few sites out there with the stats on this. The breeding will play a part as well. In England u see horses being a specialist around Southwell but struggle at Lingfield
Cork - will the drop to 6 furlongs suit the 4 at Mountain?
Kriskin, the 4 in the 2nd race has been at 5/6 in all its 8 runs, my main concern is that there is too much pace in the race, have opted to play the closer 1 w & p, gl all

small bet on the 7 for me MNR I would be a layer of the 2 if it goes to 2.1
MP R3 this is full of infrequent winners and so far tonight the speed has folded tamely, place laid the 2 with 5 & 7, gl all

You guys don't half talk some boll*cks. Putting tips up in every race as though you're judges.
They are our thoughts Gay Icon, none of us tip as you put it, we are playing with our own money backing our own judgements however good or bad they prove to be, you should try it yourself, there is no slating on here, just good nights and bad nights, some you win some you lose, the fact most of us have been on here nightly for years should tell you that we don't always lose but we do sometimes and are not ashamed to admit it.

finding short odds favorites (no value) which is too hard backed, look easier than finding short price value bets.
MP R6 have backed 8 and thrown in 6 & 4 for combos, gl all

infact it was in England, and I tried to find 2-3 really CHANCE-LESS horses, out of 200-400 running. and it worked, laying place odds from 20-50, but I was EXTREMELY sellectiv. This was from october-january, and I had no other job, and unfortunely I needed most of my winnings in february, private,. Lost too much of what was left on my account on Cheltenham(2.500 euro in one race, laying 60/1 ) and was back down on my knees

I stopped backing Irish/UK racing a long time ago, couldn't make enough profit from it, just concentrate on the US and Greyhounds now

Possibly tytfaen, I prefer to play the whole card, though I don't often back/lay in every race, today I have played Notts/Perry Barr greyhounds a total of 24 races of which I played 7, winning 5 and losing 2 for a profit of 11 points. Tonight I have played just MP and am down almost 6 points at the moment with two races to go.
The problem I have always found with looking for a single lay is that I then start looking to hard to get something beaten and I end up going against my own rules and discipline, besides 80% of my plays would be backs rather than lays most days.

ok, my lays was about the worst horses in each race, those so bad and out of form that only the owner of the horse would back it ("symphati money")
MP R8 the 4 horse ran in a good race last week and that might have left its mark, coupled with the fact it will probably blast off and the pace hasn't done well tonight means its a lay for me, laid 4 backed 1 & 5. gl all
problem with longshots is it only takes a couple to wipe you out
following me is probably not a good idea on tonights 6 point loss

Unfortunately not tytfaen, but a profit on the race overall so no complaints, did you go for the place lay yourself..?
MP R9 hopefully the 1 should take on the 7 early which should ensure 7 struggles to last home in front especially with 2/4/8/10 likely to be pushing the two of them, laid 7 backed 5/6/9 gl all
