tricky at penn but up till 4.45am watching the nfl so breaking bro rules and playing sloppy conditions
looks a match in first race between 3 and 6 on surface form so dutching them both

the unexposed #3 for me here on the barn switch at around 13/8+, a lot of exposed donkeys in this field and hope she can either stalk or make all here in the slop. GL

tell him all ok thanks pro, discipline is still working though I have let the hounds slip, only play 1 or 2 mornings now, just don't have enough free time to do enough study for them, let him know he hasn't been forgotten, though the rate the posters are diappearing on here there might only be a handful of us left by the time he makes a return....!

I'm grand pal. Gotta say I need a break from this. After years of studying my brain is frazzeled. I am contemplating taking some time off. (Trouble is I enjoy it too much)
Hope you are well and I wish you good luck with the 3.

Should be too strong I feel for St louis but no cake walk they have a strong D cards but always have a doubt betting them too heavy on the spreads
As for this next race in total agreement with MS this is a lump on the 3 at Penn
By my reckoning possibly has 3 / 4 lengths in hand on these will be up there early but doesnt need to dictate the pace is unexposed young ran a decent race last time
Cant see much to pressure him and it should be a large bowl of cheerios down the stretch for the others
3 big win Penn

Am hitting it harder has nothing to fear from the outside horses on time ran a second quicker than the 7 and 8 am convinced this will possibly make all major disappointment if this gets beat
Am pretty convinced it wont mind come on 3

Never in a moments doubt for me by ghostzapper wont be a bridled horse from recollection he was a battler.
Like I said had 3/4 lengths in hand in my book and reckoned he nears as dammit won by that distance

can see it going off a sub 1/2 shot so at around 5/7 i will keep backing
with the 7 out 8 looks a lone speed here and should be able to make all, goes for an in form stable and handles the slop on the class drop GL

3/5 if you could 100% guarantee that on the tote would be a spanish economy revival smash it all on centeno is different class to these the horse will get an uncontested lead
You check the form of the 2nd fav out and its slower than a snail at a mile

Holy sh1t now that was a miscalculation on the jockey front
Still would have cocked it leg on this field by further if it went quicker the 25.5 sec first quarter allowed the 6 to stay in range
wd ms

Chas R1 one of those rare occasions when there is no obvious pace, most unusual for Chastown, so even with Erik the Great in the plate wouldn't want to be on the 3, gone small on 7/8, gl all

I still keep in touch with Rowan and Stewart on various social media! they are both doing well just very busy with other things atm i think hence the lack of stateside punting!

Fancy the 7 to be sitting off the back and sweeping through late on
big place bet the 7 with a reasonable win bet to hopefully pick off all the pace
heck of a lot of pace on here at ct Fancy the 7 to be sitting off the back and sweeping through late on big place bet the 7 with a reasonable win bet to hopefully pick off all the pace
Have a feeling 7 might do a zebeedi tonight off a very gd run last time
1a looks clear 2nd best and imo doesnt have an awful lot to find tonight

Thanks guys was a bit strange were you expecting him to be up with the pace early cork
Have to admit he allowed 1a to steal a march and got going late
I think he would have got beat further tonight though if he had gone from the front with all the other pace tonight but can understand why you might be shall we say puzzled

just think given the horses usual run style it was odd that he allowed the horse to drift back to last before deciding he needed to make an effort, never mind nothing is going to change it now, onwards

towf, quite happy to take the good with the bad, the Penn has been consistently good to me over a long period of time, so the occasional bad one is not going to phase me

Truly you would gain alot more success at looking at the jockeys going to post at penn as explained before.Whatever experience you may have had this is a proven way .

Towf Gov and Cork do really well at Penn and consistently make profits I accept you have some knowledge but they have some as well.
I have gone 5/6 there tonight and that isnt unknown either

I was passing on vital experience from having been a jockey there. No doubt there is some advantage in the study of the differences of different barns but trust me you will find it difficult to get a consistent angle on it because their horses are not allowed to run to form.Simple as that.

towf I respect what you have to say but people like cork and gov who is my brother have been winning there for years.
He has passed on traits to me angles that most of the punters on here wont look for am not saying he or I know as much as a jockey having said that though.
Just it works we have no inside knowledge just study and flair now 6/7.

not knocking you towf, sure what you say is true, but when you find a course that is profitable for you then it makes sense to stick with it, thats why my betting activity is limited as I only play Penn, Mount, Chas on a regular basis, not everybodys cup of tea but it works fine for me

Actually i am not going to be modest my brother is pure mustard at Penn nobody on here better than him i do think cork is his equal as he tips up the same horses

Well pro think about how cork does make a profit .Its because the hot favs do not preform and therefore the bigger priced horses win so it adds up to the same thing but not quite as if you are backing horses without form you will lose.So stick with cork if it works dont fix it.

you are to kind pro, we all agreed a long time ago that gov was the original number one and would always have that mantle as his strike rate was second to none there, I have no trouble being known as his apprentice, though I'm probably the oldest one around...!

Unfortunately, we have guests staying so I have to go and entertain (provide drinks...!), hopefully you'll improve your score further still pro, will check thread tomorrow to see, gl & gn all

Like I say TOWF i am not disputing what you are saying but Penn is and has been v profitable
As punters we have no way of knowing
1, if what you are saying is true or not
2, Assuming it is true am happy to believe this, its likely to be going on elsewhere in th country.
3, From my perspective I look to always get the favs beat so if option 2 is correct it is more likely people will want to suggest a fav gets beat than an outsider. This will work to my advantage.
I realise from what you are saying you couldnt divulge your name but be great to find out who you are and how many winners you rode just curious. Did you ride anywhere other than Penn

Yes could not cope with the corruption there and as regard to how many winners in the us 78 .Overall my career will state that i rode 237 but they do not include alot of races.

From my perspective I actually quite rate the standard of jockeyship at Penn
Otero, Cora, Centeno are my 3 fav jockeys in no particular order, you have a steady stream of what i would deem above average riders in comparison to a lot of other tracks.
