I'm trying to cut out the old betting as I'm hopeless at it but MY MISS AURELIA seems to be a big price in that grade 1 at Parx. Anyone have an opinion on the race?

Sometimes it is hard to tell the numbers when it gets blurred and that isn't good. I can never remember the names during the race & so I end up hoping the horse coming with the wet sail is one I'm actually on!

Whilst I appreciate Lucky that Questing has improved since transferring to the States after a stint with John Gosden, I find it hard to see how it will reverse a 12 length beating on its juvenile form with MY MISS AURELIA.

Is it just me or do a lot of these short price favourites go either too short or at least go too short and then bounce back a bit?

Think at this time of night a tenner being added to the pool would change the odds dramatically lol

You're right there. Maybe I just notice it more at this sort of time I suppose. Though I think the earlier market gets attracted to the opening prices at the racecourse which are almost always too short.

I was surprised at some winnera at the start of the night opening at around 8 then shortening to around 7 maybe 6, haven't got my head round this side of things I only really watch US stuff this time of year when the days grow shorter and the evening domestic racing decreases!

I've never quite worked out the pricing and how it works. And I swear they have a huge overround. I've been to racing in Barbados and I couldn't get my head around the odds there either - it was alright for me since what I bet, I lost that day.

There's racing in Barbados? Never knew that, my favourite rum is made there but I digress :) American odds are weird and sometimes it seems you're getting better value here if a fav is 1/2 on track but like 2.3. i dunno not taking part in the last USA race I'm done with it for tonight!
