I do a lot that I dont post as well! Some good, some not so.

As for place betting I don't bother with b/f place prices because sometimes you go in to look and there isn't enough cash available to bother. I'll quite happily go win, place & show however on the usa tote if the price is right. Quite often there you can get the odd freaky place & show odds that exceeds the place price here.
