That's why I backed the two as thought it would get lead but thought the Fav would try to get lead and was hoping he'd persevere and go wide first turn to chase lead.

The 4 in the next at fort erie is a horse i know well from that track,a real closer and should run into the places if he gets the fractions to run at..im betting it to place at evens on BF

went as slow as snails in that race unfortunatly

who keeps laying the favs at FE right out to big odds, thats twice they've come unstuck. Like I said earlier; in days gone by you'd have thought better of that 7 based on the market. Im of the opinion the markets are being 'made' by people with no opinion on the race.

Bluenose, thats part of it perhaps but I feel theres something else going on I'm just nt sure why. I expect that the 60% Premium Charge will have had an impact on the real' money as anyone in profit who's made 250k+ lifetime no longer has any incentive to wager via this exchange.

yeah wasnt expecting that from the 7!! and he was all over my runner like a rash on the turn. shambolic first quarter of that race tbh, watched the kids derby the other week on ponies where a 9 year old won the race, was better riding than those two clowns.

why are the odds on betfair sometimes way off the odds on the player? ie. the 00:00 at Ind... number 10 8/5 on player, 7.2 on betfair?

Well done very good price, glad it picked up the Fav as had fairly big lay and thought it got perfect race with the way the leaders cut each others throats.

Gone for 10 coz of those odds :/

With some improved recent form and a jockey I like. Also ran well on soft dirt which is mad logic but made me think it might take to first time turf. Delighted when it got in front

thehunk - its because the odds on the player are tote odds, sometimes ive seen 1/9 shots on the screen be 1.66 or even bigger on exchanges

SPiller, were you going on about the penny snatching the other week? its happening to me more increasingly i've noticed the last 7 days, my losses appear in my P&L a penny more than they should and my wins a penny less. NEVER a penny in my favour. I'm not talking about every race, but enough to make it a bit suspect.

Yes forget the tote odds on the fav, Betfair will have a much more accurate assessment of a fav's chance (often a 2-1 will be 4-1 etc).  Also the tote over rounds in America are horrendous.

Keefter - It took me 2days to get a refund and apology for a unmatched pre off hedge bet getting taken in play in a US race when Betfair forgot to suspend.

4 to make all for me. Parkers mount being smashed as usual despite the fact its basically got the same chance at the 1a imo.

duckeggs, they've been a bit slow suspending tonight, nothing massive but a good 3+ seconds in a few of the earlier races.

I asked if they had refunded all customers (for in play bets) in the race I was affected in but they didn't respond.

Plus even three seconds is a massive advantage if one dwells or gets a bump flying into a sharp bend over 5f or less I'm sure you'll agree.  All bets inadvertently taken in play should be void.

no not really, I think its when the same owner/trainer has two horses in a race they have to be coupled.

Bloody hell. I always thought the tote computer was just wired. Like you say, it ain't a team sport.
