at Penn evens looks a gift on the 11, bug rider takes off 7lb and it was already the best horse by a fair way imo. as long as this boy can ride this is a very good chance, better than 50% chance imo.

Penn R4 res 3-11-4, just love the Penn dirt...! Agree flight outridden, think the 11's best chance would have been to stride on when it had all the momentum, he disappointed it by taking a tug and dropping in, he is learning though, nowhere near as bad as he was in Feb/Mar

I'm laying the 9, maiden claimers are the worst sort to rely on a heavy fav imo. its the best horse, hoping he goes forward and gets softened yup by 1 or 2 rags and something swoops late.

you're right to flight, superstitious novelty bets etc cost you a fortune in the long run, very rarely do they win...! P/L is a lot healthier when you cut them out

If quantas was around back in further flights day he probably wouldnt need to be punting now, that horse used to eat Newmarket like a fat kid eats cupcakes!!!

it seems there are wayyyyy more variables on the turf especially given many tracks are keen to take races off the turf - so a horse misses a run. Turf races also seem to have form from a couple of tracks instead of just one

I think the breeding the intelligence of the riders the pace judgement the lack or race practice. Like you say the variables of horses coming from all over makes it an utter carnage in the long term

each to their own, but given the posts on here of late, I'm amazed anyone still contemplates playing Indy, consigned it to the don't play pile many moons ago and don't envisage changing stance in this lifetime...!

You could add emerald and evang downs to that list as well parx is too early for me
PID isnt bad MNR is good PIG is great
TURF used to be a hate track but with work its not too far away from being a PIGGIE Track i tend to believe my style of punting will provide winners at most tracks but consistently piggie and mnr will be best

Think I'm due a holiday gov, finding it a bit tiresome of late since dropping Parx, struggled to fill the gap, neither PID or FL managed to fit the bill for me, been surviving on Penn & MP and cherry picking certain races at Belmont and a few others, but the long gaps between meetings is a big negative, might go away and recharge the batteries

this fav at CT looks vulnerable to me. I'd be happy to lay 3/5 if it was available 2.40 I'm not so keen. backing 3 big priced ones for small money 2 8 and 4.

The next could be a good opportunity to make some good money that 6 was pleasant in the last but am hoping the next race could be even better.
Am hoping my brother will step up for a few months and just punt my bets. I dont know how you sustain all the study and the 16 hour days you put in on here

My lads have just finished their leaving certs and have 3/4 months off gov, one wants me to tutor him on here, but am under strict instructions from the Mrs to not even think about it as she has her heart set on them going to college and fears the lure of quick money could get him hooked...!

all in good time gov, family and security first as we discussed before, plenty of time to play when they are older and set up, unless you can win the lottery or hit a mega ante post to shortcut things in the meantime of course...!

6 to swoop late @ penn in what is gonna be a pace battle royale for very slow horses mind. Jockey is not great so just a small bet to round off an average night

Disgusting event at Piggie but as I have had a decent night playing 2 horse small win med place and a small win and place on the 4 at stupid odds should be a lot shorter imo this horse
