Penn R5 Another Ness runner to contend with, this looked weaker than their grass favourite to me, interesting he has upped it to a mile, looked like it struggled for pace last time over 6f but didn't look to be crying out for the extra distance to me. Should be pace from 4/5/6 to ensure a true run race, I'm with 6 who I hope will prove strongest of the pace and 8 who should be closing up the straight, gl all

I have no monetary involvement in the inquiry but us jockeys on the whole seem extremely thick... they all know the rules but continue to ride tight and they punter gets shafted.... no way the second beats the first on merit and in the uk and aus (+ others) no way is this result even looked at for more than 5 mins

defo not in the UK, result would stand. In Oz it might be 50/50 tbh. In teh US its a straight chucked.

no complaints here, we know what we are taking on when we make the bets, had as many go for as against over the years, all part and parcel of the game we choose to play

after going to a track and checking it out on the weekend i found it amusing that the jockeys in an inquiry talk on a phone to the stewards at the scales... this is weird as you would think body language plays a big part when they explain their grounds for keeping/getting the race

agree cork I have stopped playing at parx for that reason - I hope one day it all works the same because trying to explain that last result to a pom or an aussie who knows their racing is very hard.....

yeah I've seen inteference similar to that in OZ where they've reversed the places a couple of times. The winning distance thing seems exclusively a UK stewarding thing. either way didnt affect me. I gues sthe perfect rules would be somewhere between US and UK.

Lol @ Corky!! Horts will be peeved, but as you correctly point out its part and parcel. I agree davey with the enquiry process in the states. All US courses are different though. AQU and BEL are a law unto themselves IMO

1 and 5 at penn could hook up on the front end and do each other in perhaps? or is Centeno wiser than that? I wish him and ness would funk off back to PiD tbh. everything they run is getting smashed now. Usually i dont bet in races where they have a runner because i never get them right. However I've had a small bet here on the 9.

5 wont be able to live with 1 @ penn maybe for the fist few furlongs keefter. 1 has the far superior late toe. plus we have the excellent centeno who actually has a brain as opposed to the majority

Penn R6 hard to envisage three Ness favs in a row getting turned over, wouldn't back or lay this one, though if forced to play it would lay as there is a lot of pace opposition to it from 4/5/8/9, small w/p backs of 6 & 7 for me, gl all

jock is also 28% at the track lifetime. Ive seen him deliver some determined rides for a claimer. He doesnt have too much of a clock in his head but he is persistent!
