I can merit in a few of these at Indy esp 5+8 and No7 but fav No3 comes out a really good race. She was 3rd, the 1-2 won next time out and the 4th was only just beaten at Churchill. At 4.00, she's a play for me

#5 for me at around 9/1+, nice win here for the new barn on the turf 2 weeks back should go well off a strong pace. GL

I'm going 3 & 5.

I have the 7 getting murdered here. Not laying, but interesting to see how this one pans out.

I am all over 3 win and place.

MP R2 This race now on the dirt which means 6 has every chance of wiring the field as it reverts to 6f which will inconvenience the 2 despite Parker being on board, muddy track might help but being first race on it 6 should cope with it, backed 6 saved 2, gl all

I actually backed the 6 when you suggested laying the 4 as the favouritism swapped but for the same reason.

On a related question, can anyone explain why the odds on here can be so vastly different to on the track.

MP R3 res 1-2/4 surprised it was called dh for 2nd, Parker seemed to ease up slightly, made all the difference

Darlo, in general the final odds are usually even par give or take a small difference, it is leading up to the race that there can be seemingly vast differences, but that is because the majority of people play the pools as late as possible, the odds on here are a better guide.
That is not to say that there are never any discrepancies as there can be and it on those occasions that you can benefit if you have belief in your own opinion/reading of a race.

Cheers Cork. I did think that there was or certainly could be late movements which threw my previous theory awry. Sometimes, I let ones go when I think the odds I have are hugely beneficial but I realise that it's not that great a difference.

Now, for example, perhaps it's just late and I'm being stupid, but how do you have two horses at evens in the same race?

was a bad race and the locals had difficulty splitting 4 & 7 presumably because 7 hadn't run for ages and 4 had recent form, however anyone that had done their homework would have known that the 4 regressed on its last run and was 0-6 on a wet surface, hence I wanted to be with 7 and against 4, similarly against the 2 that had shown a total dislike of the dirt.
Worked out this time and if you do your homework and study you'll be right more times than you are wrong.

MP R5 hard to be to enthusiastic about any of these, all have negatives hence they are all still maidens, but one won't be shortly, even with Parker up hard to back the 7 after its last run, the 8 is 7 years old and winless from 23.
