Have been wathcing this horse pretty closely last few runs
It has enough speed to be near the front so will not get outpaced and enough stamina to go past these beats
Not a nap but a gd bet the 3 at Piggie its sloppy so this is just my opinion think it will win

Penn R7 Proceed with caution where the 3 is concerned, admittedly it comes from better races but slop is a great leveller especially when you are trying to come from off the pace, additionally the 3 is the only horse never to have encountered the slop, could love it but who knows? All of its rivals have form on slop the 5 & 1 both having good records, the 4 & 6 not so good but they do race on it, so backs of 5 & 1 for me, wouldn't lay the 3 as think it is the best horse, gl all

2nd or 3rd just off the 1 and 5 horses early doors

I make you right there Gov! Due to the long season @ CT caution defo is required over there as i find earlier in the season the good things on paper do win, however when it all starts drawing to a close you get some weird results

But well played both of you in returning to profit column
Am down tonight and am shutting up shop if I can quit whilst behind means more than quitting when winning

40% return looked too good to pass up, glad we got the loss out of the way early, stopped me from backing the 6 in the 3rd which I had marked as the follow up shortie, in hindsight should have covered the debutant in the 1st at Chas, usually do when playing that type of race, eye off the ball, was on the packet of doughnuts I had next to me...!

Gov i hear you mate its far tougher walking away on a loss. As gamblers there is always that dark temptation to keep going and dig a potentially darker hole in your pocket and your head!

that newcomer corky which did us @ CT was ridden by a decnt jock aswell second check is always best policy. Greed goggles go on though when you have a beast which looks good

Seen what damage a loss does to your bank and potentially your mindset if your not strong when backing at such low odds.
Most people go steaming into next fav and try get it back with a big hit. Two losers v easy to have but to try returning to level if you have gone crazy means a big grind or a lucky chase.
Probably my limit would be 4/6 on a win bet and probably around 1/3 as an absolute low point for a place.
Seen a mate go lumpy tastic and ended up him doing 25k and losing plenty else bar his money.
No lectures though bud as I am on an average run of things at moment

Genius you dont get that nickname for nothing. You and Special are two people the forum espicially myself could learn loads from never seen you back a shortie so was just surprised more on the odds than its realtive chance of winning
You know more in your right little finger than I do in both hands
Quantas nice v nice at PM well done

Penn R9 Have the 2 marked out as best but not interested in playing at the odds on offer given the slop, happy for it to win or hopefully lose for flight, without my support

Give yourself 100 selections at piggie what do you reckon you would expect as a % of winners reckon 30 out of 100 wouldnt sound too far fetched
Then its odds time can you beat average 3.75 with a 5% commission on your bets to at least break even thats my v basic rationale.
Hopefully I am capable of at least that if I am not then its time for a break or to follow you
On the mend genius thanksLong game as you say genius Give yourself 100 selections at piggie what do you reckon you would expect as a % of winners reckon 30 out of 100 wouldnt sound too far fetchedThen its odds time can you beat average 3.75 with a 5%
Your too kind gov with your praise and are underselling yourself, if time allowed I'm confident that you would soon surpass anything I have achieved on here, have enjoyed sharing thoughts and banter on here and hopefully if the trolls stay away will continue to do so in the future, this and the hound thread help the time spent on here pass without it becoming a chore.

I frankly dont have the time to handicap so he charges £2.50 a track to me they have performed very well since i started "observing" them a few weeks ago. As he puts up 1 free track per day. But you have to pay for the other ones which is fair

gov, think it depends whether you are working figures against a full card or cherry picking the 100 races, if it is just the first 100 races in a row then I'd say 1/4 would be a good return, if you selected certain races then I'd be hoping for nearer 3/4 or at least 60% minimum. In an average day I will play anything between 1 & 40 markets, if I play the 40 would expect to take a profit from 30 minimum, if I played 10 would be expecting to profit from at least 8
