was given chores today so have had to work on a race by race basis tonight, my first flick through the card said there was nothing to get excited about and then to contradict matters I've fluked a couple of winners, if I could ever suss when and when not to raise and lower stakes I'd be rich enough to pay someone to run all the errands I get stuck with...!

Penn R4 difficult was a word made for this race where faults can be found with all those at the front of the market, 10 needed plenty of runs to find its feet as a 2yo, 8 has had plenty of chances and seems to lack a gear, the 7 has to be forgiven an appalling run last time where it was virtually pulled up, its good run before was on the slop so could be misleading.
The 2 is the fly in the ointment as its either falsely low or someone knows something, won't be playing that though, for me three small w & p backs on 1/4/6 who could have improvement in them.

Penn R5 One of the more straightforward looking races tonight, which probably means I've read it totally wrong...!
There appears plenty of pace led by the 1 part of the entry and backed up by 2/3/4/5/6, presumably they won't go six abreast but who knows with these jocks tonight, however they run they seem destined to set it up for the two trackers the 7 & the 1A, the 7 got the verdict over the 1A last time and could do so again, back of 7 and w & p 1A.

Cork am reading it differently to you mate which means either we both cant read or your right.

This has had the influence of 1 of horts vodkas so here goes

For me my bets are 5 who will be off the pace slightly and the 1 who will be off the pace and finishing in a field of likely pacesetters.

I believe 7 missed the kick last time in the slop and is actually a speedy pacesetter added to the fact he has won two on the bounce makes him a lay for me.

The 5 has had a nice prep ace over 5f running on okay prior to that a gd 6f race time at parx and previously a decent 6.5f time

Think the 1 who is a huge price could surprise a few tonight all form over further but if they go stupid he has some backclass and could run through the pace to place at worst

Penn R6 This race doesn't appeal to me much as there doesn't appear to be much pace in it other than possibly the 5, my token suggestions would be 1 who looks more place than win material, the 6 who could improve for stepping back up to the mile and the 9 who will run on through beaten horses but again looks more place than a win bet, backed all three w & p.

cork am with you have bet 3 horses as well funnily enough mine are

4 horse did nothing wrong last time wanted the step up in trip won well has otero on board and bred to like the trip

6 horse who could be a class above most of these

2 horse who had a prep race last time off a few month layoff.

Am confident one of these will win pays for me about 6/4 the trio at my odds

Penn R8 Likely to be another race easily forgotten, hard to make a positive case for many of them, my initial picks were 1 & 8 who both ran behind what I thought looked a ready winner last time out, astonished to see the odds of the 1 so now deleted from my picks as didn't see anything worthy of that support, just 8 w & p for me

Penn R9 the 7 1ooks the obvious play, but a little skinny for my liking, the 3 to me is an obvious lay, an 11 race maiden already finished behind the 7, see no reason why it should reverse form, couple of prices playing for places in the 9 & 10 who are consistent if not world beaters, considered the class dropping 8 but think it has its work cut out in this, gl to all
