Customers on Windows 7, using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, sometimes see a blank black screen. The workaround is to switch to Google Chrome. The problem is related to a security setting, applied by the provider.
If the issue is browser independent it might be related to the Windows Media or network settings: 1. Make sure Windows Media Player has plenty of bandwidth - Open Windows media player, click tools on the top menu, click the Options link, and open the Performance tab. 2. Manually set the bandwidth to T1 (1.5 Mbps) and then close and save the settings. 3. Close all browser windows, re-open the web browser, and log back into the site.
It may also be an issue with internet protocol: 1. Open the Windows Media Player 2. Open the "Tools" Menu item, Select "Options" 3. Click on the Network Tab and uncheck all protocols except HTTP (remove check marks in RTSP/UDP and RTSP/TCP). 4. Click OK and close Windows Media Player.
