as for otero I really rate the jockey hard not to be a little concerned with the ride having said that I think it just gets a mile at slow speed 1m 43 is a crawl.
So I think it was strangled back through fear of the distance hence even 49 sec 1/2 mile fractions were slow he was pulling head off but jockey didnt dare risk using him up.
Just my opinion but actually I think it bears out on its previous form

SEA - some good points. The main one was he couldn't get the beast on it's right leg the whole up the straight
Krisk you know the score mate your right about the horse and its leg.
Any horse like any human can get pretty much any trip distance wise its just the speed.
A fav winning a race at 1m 43 is pedestrian granted he raced at higher grade I dont have access to all form but my Penn clock says thats mediocre.
The 4 produced a pleasing 1m 41 sec clocking and wasnt killed to do it, I will get and continue to get plenty wrong but at least that wasnt one of them.
