once and for all can someone explain the betting shows to me - e.g. the last race at PM 9.56 the last show for the winner was 7/5 but it sps evens - why and where you access the most up to date shows?

tote betting can be very volatile especially at the smaller tracks
so is there no where that anyone can get more up to date shows than those on ATR - i find that hard to believe when people are happily backing horses at 2.1 with 1 mtp which is showing 8/5 on ATR - race starts,suddenly the horse is 4/5 - and the backers didn't know that was the price?
A lot of the betting on here is guided by morning line prices when some of them are way out. Bit like comparing say racing post prices to the sun or similar.
as an example the 3 in the next at fort erie was 6/1 ML but most likely goes off fav around 3/1 but peeps here willing to lay bigger as they probably think it will drift nearer morning line price by the off. I fyou do the work you can find some nuggets but the problem nowadays is getting a bet on.
LOL how about looking at next race in FortE. Any thoughts?
