Been trialing a mix of value / form based laying in US racing that works okay in UK, Aust RSA markets but seems not to do well in the US market.  Mostlly below odds of 10 and no short priced ones. Definitely some bad luck involved with some weird runs of losses and a small sanple size - 40 to 50 bets- but it just seems different.  Is it much different?

The big difference is this can be a "wiseguys" place with poor liquidity. You can put up many lay orders and only the live longshot will be taken. In 2 weeks can't see many $ at all laying, as risk is no longer a viable strategy.

That is how I was thinking too.  Been trying to dodge those ones but they are subtle in how they do it.
