IMHO i think its the most consistent racing main reason probably no handicaps i hate handicap races  level weights are better  and imho nothing beats  a 6f claimer at will roger downs or a 6f claimer under the lights at mountaineer handicap races has ruined british racing i wish the us system was the one world system

with a bit of hard work, there's no reason why anyone can't at least be a break even player.

Here (UK) Horses run. In US they RACE! The form here is totally unreliable for no end of reasons. As a horse player give me American racing any day

The US race cards are more accurate on horse forms and race positions ie, mid field or rear of field. It does seem that the favorites do win a lot more then in the uk, but then again this is just my opinion.

But i do enjoy the racing as the horses do run full pelt and its good action to watch.

UK is the only country in the world that has pulled up horses everyday.
Often after that they hose up.The HRA do very little.
Many people think bookies have been able to get to the top with whats happen over many years.
The working man from the sixties has paid for it all.
He has been short changed. In america is more far and easier to pick a winner especially in the more
expensive races and big races.
Also the uk handicapping system rewards horses that do not do well.
So its easier for the connections to set up a gamble.Joe punters dosnt get a look in
and when something suspicious happens we get an investigation that lasts years.
Also too many  secret societies spreading info.
