Me am on the 8 fear 7 might well have left its race behind last time

Nothing wrong with the 8 horse form or speed ratings at the price med win med place the 8 who will be buried out the back early doors I hope and swoop late on.

the 7 at penn has only ever won over 6f faltered last time inside final furlong over 1 mile , as this is now over 1 1/16f im laying it at this short price gl

Ive had a boxed 7  1  12  for a few peanuts

The key to this race, is pace!!! there is none. #7 should get a soft lead. I am on at 2.5 plus

agree dreaming not bundles of pace but like the 8 who has as good form over the 6f and wasnt given a hard race last time.

oh dear im getting slight abuse off of menelaus , well son the fact of the matter was that 7 had never won over further then 6fs this was a mile and 1/16th as you rightly point out , but if we all knew how a race was going to pan out ie the speed of the race then we would all be alot richer alas no one can ever tell what the pace of a race is going to be in any race not even jas who i do respect is a very good judge , so at the prices i thought it was a fair lay and as it was short i didnt do that much damage , one thing i will say though memelaus is what do you fancy in the next at penn

I do think you can have a decent stab at the pace michael tho also agree that at the prices you could lay the 7 if sufficient doubts were had

I personally screwed it up by backing the 8 who looked to have a similar profile to the 7 but ran like a oinker

menelaus bottom line the 7 had ran 15 times didnt get home in last race at a mile it was its 16th race and was now running even further,it had never won at a mile let alone the extra so had to be a lay for me simple as that , it got away with a cheap quater and from then on there was only ever going to be 1 winner but tbh given a similar scenario in the future i would still lay its just a percentage call , i hope you understand my reasoning gn lol

11 for me at CT, managed to get some 4.4 a couple of minutes ago which looked decent value, not sure I'd be quite so keen at 3.40 though if I'm honest. looks a tricky race.
