I just watched as the price of the 5 came tumbling in.As it was clearly no good thing does anyone think that market manipulation is at work here? Or even perhaps gamblers chasing losses after the fave at T Para got beat?

#2 at around 4/5 is a NAP for me. Won his last two impressively for hot Shanyfelt barn (they won the first race last night) Jas dueled and still won by three lenghts with Parker aboard just 10 days ago earning an 80 beyer number, should see more of his last race tonight. GL

this 2 should be the outsider & its only 7-1 on here at penn,big lay at current odds

More a case of watching the boards on track which showed the 5 to be 1/9 suggesting a lay down winner nev, IMHO.

why do some of you never learn, the biggest rule of US racing is to tread carefully at Mountaineer and golden gates.

You have to remember the toat boards can lack liquidity nev , at the small tracks and the prices can be distorted by one decent wager ,gd luck.

Point taken tod,apologies if that sounds bad,it was very,very small and couldnt have been done with confidence to post.

also Nev, mountaineer is notorious for being on of the slowest to update their pool information.

quiet often, the final price of say a 9/1 shot at the start can be reduced as low as 5/1 when the tote information comes through.

its a crook track, nothing further to say.

however it does have a decent enough favourite strike rate ,you just have to be very picky at mount.

Mount is one of the courses I follow despite the 'problems', the handicapping at times leaves alot to be desired, but if you bear this in mind you can find some big price winners.

2 for a place looks great value @penn

it can sometimes be an advantage betting at "bent" tracks, always laying below 1.8 for example...

Do you guys all follow US racing very closely, as in do you know the form really well? I don't have the time to follow it properly so I only have a few bets here and there on the US racing, I mainly bet on the AW in England where I do spend hours on the racing.

I thought you were going to bed Book? I just had to sort out some washing so will watch the next at Mount then go to bed. Great shout Decaf, just rajjed it on the line - I thought the jockey was going to fall out the saddle but he eventually got the job done.

Any way, I am off to bed this time (3rd time lucky and all that). I will post on here more in future if I try my luck on the US Racing, a lot of informative people and it's good that people treat other posters with a bit of respect (although it's probably different on a normal night ).
