An upgraded version of the Timeform free form site (www.timeform.com/free) goes live today ahead of this year’s Breeders’ Cup at Churchill Downs starting on Friday. The site offers improved usability and a variety of new features and added functionality. In addition to cards, results, form and analysis of British, Irish and Dubai racing the new site offers extensive coverage of US racing.
NEW FEATURE – US RACING
The major new feature of the site is the addition of US racing content. For the first time, users have access to detailed race card information from Equibase, the official form database in the US. Timeform content is also provided for each US race including:
• Timeform 1-2-3
• Timeform Comments
NEW CONTENT
In addition, the navigation and usability of the site has been greatly enhanced by the inclusion of:
- a list of recently viewed pages, allowing users to easily access and re-access form lines without the need for a new search;
- a list of the next five races off including the Timeform 1-2-3 for each of those races;
- a mini race card to support form analysis saving users the need to repeatedly return to a particular race card;
- within race card presentation of Timeform Comments.
ENHANCED FEATURES
As before the site offers a race card view integrated to the Betfair Exchange and displays live prices in addition to recent form, pedigree and Timeform analyses. Racing previews are available via links to Timeform Radio and users are able to download meeting cards in PDF format. A search facility enables users to access form for horses, jockeys and trainers from the Timeform database. A rolling live information table displays up-to-the-minute news for each meeting, providing going updates, non-runner information and jockey changes for British, Irish and now US racing.
For post-race analysis a comprehensive results service includes:
• Quick and Detailed results
• Betfair and Industry SPs, including Betfair Price Advantage
• In-running Highs and Lows
Timeform, the home of winners since 1948, is now also proudly the home of US racing.
