I have a problem with the settlement of the place market for this race-having laid the horse who eventually finished 3rd due to one of the runners being deemed a non runner.
Rang customer services and the conversation went as follows
Woodbine -what's that -horse racing-can't find any markets for there -sorry sir.Eventually finds market and proceeds to read me the rules .I asked her if she had the ability to do anything apart from read out the rules and she said no.I told her I would speak to someone who could.
I have a fairly decent turnover on American racing but why is it you are more likely to be ripped off or short changed on American racing then any other market I play in.

if it finished 3rd you still lose.

Place odds remain regardless of the number of runners once
the race is put on site.

I know the rule -just don't  think it's fair.I think Betfair should make a discretionary payment to anyone who laid the eventual third.
