I'll be involved after NYSE closes in 10 min. The S&P broke critical 1040 support, it could be a lot of fun into the close unless the PPT intervenes.

Anyone know what number won the 8.45 at Pleas? Went to watch the video but it asked for some sort of extra plug in. Cheers.

NYSE closed. DOW down 96 pts for the day, mostly the last 30 minutes of trading.
For those interested in trading this market, here's an excerpt from a missive from the Technical Analysis desk at Goldman Sacks released earlier today: "......at the end of May, S&P approached this moving average – then around the 1070 level – but thanks to a month end rally it ultimately held. unfortunately, with June soon to be officially in the books, the chart is clear: unless S&P recovers the 1083 level today, we will have crossed down and through the moving average. on this simple basis, the technical signal is to be short the market The market didn't only NOT recover the 1083 level, it actually crossed the critical 1040 support at 1030. That's your clue to stay short. The only thing can spoil the party is a surprise QE announcement, so set tight stops and reverse your positions until the high wears off. Otherwise, just continue to feast at the money trough. Now, back to racing.........and good luck. |
