although actual prices are often wrong, the proportional spread of the odds is accurate most of the time IMO (many will disagree)
different odds compiler for each track, generally someone that works at the track overall the m/l is scarily accurate but most dismiss it - it's simply someone's opinion and we should review all of the evidence and form our own |

I MEAN IF A HORSE IS 7/2 IN THE MORNIN LINE AN D GOT BACK DOWN TO 3/5 WOULD U BE CONCERNED IF IT WAS SUCH A GOOD THING SURELY IT WOULD BE SHORTER IN THE MORNING LINE

There are not many M/L's that are "scarily accurate" imo.

It all depends on who is making them. NYRA (Belmont, Saratoga, Aqueduct) guy is pretty good imo.

M/l odds range from moderately accurate yet completely irrelevant (at best - say, NYRA) to ridiculously our of touch with reality and exceedingly irrelevant (Woodbine, Texas-tracks...) The only time M/L odds become relevant in any way whatsoever if some silly bozo uses them as a basis to create an 'early' line on Betfair, and I get to pick them off early. :)
