After a week of emails with betfair i thought i should warn you guys.
Be careful if placing us tote bets on here, especially if the meeting has a chance of being abandoned ( not that i knew that when i placed the bet).
I placed an exacta on a race at woodbine only for it to get abandoned.
This was on monday, its still showing as placed and the money hasnt been refunded.
Emails just keep saying its being dealt with etc etc.
Just a heads up incase you place large tote bets on here.

Why can't we bet place only, or show only, bets on the USA tote, and why are there only a few tracks listed each day?

There was no tote for Pimlico because TVG/Betfair doesn't have an wagering agreement with the Churchill and Magna tracks in this country. There is no place or show betting options as stand-alone wagers because Betfair had fears of bridge-jumpers...sounds strange, I know but they claim to have their reasons. |
