I bet Ice Box, in Feb and Mar for the Derby. I feel safe in saying he is NOT a Preakness horse. Not in the least. Will be shocked if he wins a Grade 1 the rest of the year. I thought he was a 10fur/Churchill/fast pace horse....but thats it. Not a true Gr.1 horse. My 2 cents (from someone who lost many 000s on him)

Sorry, not a Preakness horse, not a Belmont horse, just not a fast horse. He'll pick up pieces at the end like he did yesterday but he's not the type you bet on the nose, they hardly ever get there.

Apologies all, got caught in the excitment, the post should read- Win the Belmont by... hence the D'Tara reference ! I totally agree the preakness is too short and as the last poster indicates would be best to just skip anyways and head to Elmont ! I'm gonna be all over it !

No chance Belmont. Horses like him do terribly in that race. Come from too far back.......... need someone with more tacticle speed. TC is right.....no chance, hes a 8 or furlong horse, who makes one big 2 furlong run late. Would lay him any price in belmont. (rememebr, Da Tara led all the way...was speedier)

Sheikh: I will be honest with you. I laid TWO horses in the Belmont...and backed 1
Laid Ice Box. And Laid..DROSSELMEYER.
BAcked the 2nd place, Fly Down.
Wad convinced Drosselmeyer would not stay, and thought it was the best 13.0 I had ever laid.
