Hi Everyone,

Hoping someone can offer some advice on a little problem at work.

My company's office in Nigeria received a huge amount of payments into their local NGN Account but they now need to transfer a proportion of it to our Head Office in Hong Kong (around 110k USD worth.

The problem is that with the falling oil prices the government has placed a restriction on the Naira so our office is unable to transfer the money out....not even allowed to move it to their local USD account and then transfer.

So the funds are basically stuck in Nigeria.

I was hoping someone might have some advice about how to still transfer it legally.

There's got to be a way around this....

any help / advice would be much appreciated.

ELG

Ps all those times I laughed at those Nigerian scam emails have come back to bite me in the **** :)
