Having read great reviews digging a little deeper the author Robert Kiyosaki appears to be less legit than he claims. Tells a great story though, it appears to be his ability to do this is the reason that made him rich and not actually though making big businesses. A good salesman grasping onto an idea that captures the publics imagination on how to become fabulously wealthy.
One thing I did come across that seems logical advise is his B-I triangle to build a solid business, thoughts?

Arrogant, boastful and full of promises about how he'll tell you exactly what to do to get rich...yet then you read his books and you see the stories of great wealth with no more advice than 'get educated'. Yes, that's why we bought your books, now what? 'Education is the most important thing'. Right, ok, now what then? Educate me. More stories and more 'get educated'. Brilliant.

His advisers seem to be like that as well, bar Mike Maloney who really does teach you and tell you all you need to know. Andy Tanner seems to have gone to the Rich Dad school of saying lots of words but saying nothing that will actually help you. 'Get educated and join my elite club'. Hmm.

The one good thing for their series of books is that it makes you rethink the mainstream monetary ideas but as for expecting any specific advice you can forget it. His one piece of outdated advice which you can't use is borrow good debt and make more money on that good debt than you need to repay. Genius!

Lots of people have looked up his claims and say he talks sh1te. Most even question his 'rich dad's' existence since no one in the Hawaii area at that time matched his descriptions.

in documentary he's very possessions orientated, number of cars, price of house, money

his conventions look lucrative, people paying mega money

to be fair he never inherited his wealth

I googled and many are questioning his past

I agree J2Blue....You have read the books then? I watched a youtube documentary showing his conventions to be scamming, its really disgusting how they force people to spend more money and keep coming back to the conventions even though they advertised them as Free!!

I do like the B-1 triangle business model though and it sums it up nicely

Yea i've read most of them. I didn't pay much for them thankfully. All second hand. They are good to get motivated and thinking about your finances. If you're looking for actual advice, don't bother!
