The Dow fell last night after Benanke's roller-coaster speech. The Dow was down when the FTSE closed and recovered later in the session.

You can display the charts together. Display the Dow with the link below, then add UKX in the compare box. Click on the ALL for a ca 35 year chart. It's a bit of an eye opener.
