I've never been impressed with his intellect as he has always struck me as someone more comfortable bullying others than seeking or promoting collective enlightenment. For me this is a most profound weakness. Still it must have served him well in the past as there will be many who have been cowed by his performances.
However, surely given his recent performances nobody will ever be taken in again by this most venal of charlatans?
